Why Blogging?

Living abroad with a large family back home is complicated. I am constantly asked the same questions in what feels like a repetitive manner. I thought that through the use of social media I could start a travel page where I'd make frequent updates and that would be enough. Come to find out its not. I've always got some member of the family who didn't get the most recent update and it leaves me repeating myself all the time!

So, why blogging you ask? I have decided it will be the easiest way to update those back home. Not only that, but I think it will be fun for me to have a place to store all my adventures. I am going to try my best to write on a weekly basis about anything remotely interesting. I will write about topics from traveling to food to life in a foreign country. My goal is to start writing about my most recent travels and then start working on those from the past. I would also like to take recommendations. If anyone has ever seen a picture or post of mine you're interested in learning more about, please let me know!
